Harbor promenade: the boat sheds
Many people will immediately recognize the authentic boat sheds with their characteristic colors—one of Portocolom’s most popular postcard motifs. However, in recent years the image had changed: gray façades, cracks, damaged doors. For a few weeks now, the transformation has finally begun. The restoration is in full swing and is gradually bringing the boat sheds back to new life.
S'Arenal: the beach of Sa Punta
The idyllic sandy beach has acquired a new image. Goodbye to the through road. From now on, access is pedestrian only. The entire beach area has been enhanced with a promenade.
Parking area for S'Arenal
For beach visitors, a small parking area has been created, which of course also includes two charging stations for electric vehicles.
A new roundabout
Safety first! Another roundabout is being added to the collection, bringing a significant visual improvement to the streets "Carrer de l'Orada" and "Carrer del Cavall Marí".
The viewpoint of Sa Punta
This viewpoint was already completed in 2025, but it is worth mentioning as it contributes to Portocolom’s new image. It offers a beautiful view of the harbor of Portocolom.
